PT Petro Oxo Nusantara (PON) was established in 1996, a pioneer & largest producer of 2-Ethyl Hexanol (2-EH), Normal-Butyl Alcohol (NBA), and Iso-Butyl Alcohol (IBA) in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. With the export market share of 80% of total production, PON products are exported to China, Singapore, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Australia, India.
Our factory and head office are located in the Gresik Industrial Estate, JI. Gubernur Suryo No. 134, Tlogopojok Gresik, Indonesia on an area of 14 hectares with a production capacity of 150,000 Metric Tons per year. In less than 2 years, PON managed to improve operational performance up to 110%. Production facilities using technological processes include Haldor Topsoe for SynGas and Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation for Octanol.
In 2015, PON succeeded in building and operating an LCO2 (Liquid Carbon Dioxide) plant with a production capacity of 33,000 Metric Tons per year. The advantage of the LCO2 plant is that it can reabsorb CO2 exhaust gas and process it into petrochemical products that have added value for PON. The LCO2 production facility uses DOW process technology for CO2 separation, UOP for PSA Membranes, and UNION Engineering for liquid CO2.
