PT Trans-Pacific Petrochemical Indotama (TPPI)

Community Empowerment

  • Collaborated with the Vocational Training Center of Tuban to train 20 residents of Remen Village, Tasikharjo Village, and Purworejo Village in terms of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) as a preparation for the incoming industrialization, especially in the oil and gas.
  • Collaborated with Airlangga University (Unair), Surabaya, to train the hard skills and soft skills of 25 residents of Remen Village, Tasikharjo Village, and Purworejo Village in utilizing the local tourism potential to boost the local economy
  • Collaborated with the Association of Sumber Rejeki Farmers Groups, Tasikharjo Village, in assisting and mentoring the local community in planting 2,100 Californian Lemon trees on 2 hectares of land.
  • Guided the community to manage their waste at the landfill of Remen Village and Tasikharjo Village to preserve the environment and helps the local economy.

Drug-Free Health Program

Supporting the Regency Narcotics Agency (BNNK) of Tuban to keep Tuban City free from drugs through a symbolic gymnastic activity and MOU signing of the MOU to prevent and eradicate drug abuse and trafficking.

Covid-19 Prevention Program

  • Collaborated with local health agency (Puskemas) and the local community organization to carry out the Covid-19 booster vaccination for 420 employees of TPPI and outsourced workers.
  • Donated 2,000 protective masks to the Military Command 0811 of Tuban to prevent the Covid-19 virus from spreading.
  • Donated to Tuban Health Agency to help the community to recover from cataracts and financed cataract surgeries for 50 patients.

Blood Donors

Organized blood donor activities every 3 months in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI). From the blood donor at the TPPI Clinic, 496 blood bags were obtained from workers in the factory area. Meanwhile, from the Tasikharjo Village Hall, 283 blood bags were collected from local residents.

Healthcare Program for Toddlers and Elderly

Donated 3,032 packages of Supplementary Food (PMT) for toddlers to prevent stunting and donated a total of 1,884 PMT packages for the elderly for the whole year of Tasikharjo Village, Remen Village and Purworejo Village.

Sports Program

TPPI assisted the local community in Tasikharjo Village, Remen Village, and Purworejo Village through mentoring and financial aid to organize both routine and competitive sports activities.

Education Program

TPPI contributed to improving the quality of education for the local community through grants for children with distinctive achievements, renovation of school facilities, sponsorship for educational activities and competitions, fieldwork (PKL) or apprenticeships, and industrial visits from educational institutions and schools. These programs had benefitted many students from elementary to university levels.

Infrastructure Program

Made several donations to repair and improve public facilities. The donation varied from lamps for public road lights, repairing the roads, mosques, prayer rooms, and Islamic boarding schools, and renovation of houses for the poor.

Social Program

Donated many forms of aid including staple foods, cash, and sacrificial animals for those in need. The beneficiaries consisted of the poor, the elderly, orphans, and also the mosque. Donations were given on various occasions to celebrate religious holidays, during corporate events, and when natural disasters strike.

TPPI distributed aid to victims of the Cianjur earthquake, West Java

Hello Petkims Friends! One of the subsidiary entities of PT Tuban Petrochemical Industries (TubanPetro), namely PT. Trans-Pacific Petrochemical Indotama (TPPI) provided assistance in the form of groceries to victims of the earthquake that occurred in Cianjur Regency, West Java.

This assistance was given directly to the earthquake victim evacuation camp, in the form of logistics, ready-to-eat food, food packages and baby equipment, Thursday (1/12/2022).

TPPI's PR & CSR Section Head, Taheran Sidik Prabowo said this assistance was TPPI's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) response to the disaster. According to him, the disaster that was experienced by Cianjur residents was also felt by all Indonesian citizens, including TPPI employees. "In addition to assistance from companies worth hundreds of millions of rupiah, we also continue to raise funds from TPPI employees at the Tuban and Jakarta Plant Sites to be distributed in stages," he explained.

Environmental Preservation Program

TPPI also contributed to environmental preservation by planting 1,000 trees in the area around the factory and planting 20 trees around the area within Tuban Regency. TPPI also contributed to preventing flooding by providing cleaning facilities, facilitating community service, and educating the surrounding community about the importance of a green environment.

Coordination with the Government and Media

TPPI continued to foster the relationship with stakeholders to help resolve various issues. The activities quite varied from courtesy visits to government agencies, supporting local MSMEs, and providing social funds for various activities of local communities and local media gatherings.
