Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility
The social and environmental responsibility programs of the TubanPetro Group have been designed to align with the needs of the community, especially those in Ring-1 of factories of the Company's subsidiaries, in order to provide optimal benefits in terms of economic, social, and environmental development.
TubanPetro upholds its commitment to Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as part of its moral obligation to do business that maximizes its value creation to all stakeholders. The CSR commitment covers sustainable development in the social, economic, and environmental sectors that benefit surrounding communities.
This commitment is implemented together with its subsidiaries as a collaborative effort to maximize positive business value across the group. TubanPetro and its subsidiaries also engage stakeholders to ensure the impact can be mutually beneficial.
CSR commitment from TubanPetro and subsidiaries (hereinafter can be referred to as “TubanPetro Group”) adheres to Law No. 40 of 2007 on Limited Liability Companies, which outlines the role of companies in supporting sustainable economic development that improves the quality of life and the environment for the greater good.
CSR Program Plan
TubanPetro Group has managed social, economic, and environmental issues in line with its work plan, supported by an adequate budget allocation. The CSR strategy focuses on optimizing the benefits of programs based on the "Triple Bottom Line" approach, emphasizing the importance of balancing Profit, People, and Planet (3P). TubanPetro Group ensures that its CSR programs not only protect the environment (Planet) and contribute to social welfare (People) but also align with the Company’s financial and operational growth (Profit).
The primary targets of TubanPetro Group CSR activities are the communities surrounding its operational areas to maintain harmonious relationships and foster a conducive business climate for the continuity of operations and the protection of the Company’s assets. Additionally, TubanPetro and its subsidiaries also conduct CSR activities targeting the broader community as part of the Company’s commitment to contributing to society and the nation.
Proper Awards for the TubanPetro Group in CSR
TubanPetro consistently encourages its subsidiaries and affiliates to develop CSR programs within their respective companies to achieve the highest recognition in this field. Various awards have been earned by subsidiaries and affiliates in different categories throughout 2024. One of the key awards received by the TubanPetro Group is the PROPER (Company Performance Rating Program), presented by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) of the Republic of Indonesia.
