Polytama again won the GOLD PROPER award for the SINERGI CERMAT Program

Polytama has once again received the PROPER Gold award for the fifth time for its SINERGI CERMAT program (Smart, Eco-Friendly, and Integrated Energy Synergy), which focuses on three key areas, including environmental education for children, the provision of renewable energy, and waste processing into infrastructure materials. This award recognizes the Company’s efforts in implementing environmental policies with positive impacts, both internally and externally. The realization throughout 2024 include:

• Launched the E-Saving Product Granules innovation, reducing energy consumption in pellet production by 89%, achieving efficiency gains of over 43 thousand Giga Joules (GJ), and saving costs of up to Rp17 billion per year;
• Launched the #PlastikPPBaik campaign with innovations such as pedal-powered bicycles and electric motorcycles using Oligotrik (Oligomer-Based Electricity) from hazardous waste (B3), which has obtained utilization permits from the KLHK to increase the income of MSMEs;
• Introduced the SEHATI program (Green, Healthy, and Clean Schools) in 12 elementary schools to promote environmental education;
• Encouraged MSMEs food vendor at Taman Tjimanoek, Indramayu, to separate food waste (collecting 10 tons) through a Biodesgester system, generating methane gas as an alternative energy source and liquid organic fertilizer;
• Developed Batik Javing technology (Plastic Waste into Paving Blocks), utilizing non-B3 fine polymer waste as a substitute material for public infrastructure development;
• Saved over Rp131 million per year in fuel costs by converting electrical energy from Oligomer-based sources.
